Candace Cotten

A 2023 Mitchell Hamline School of Law graduate, Candace sat for the bar exam before she’d even graduated! She brings that same determination and initiative to all aspects of her life. As a parent to four children, we aren’t sure when she takes time to breathe! Whether living her best mom life or working with clients, Candace balances humor with directness and practical knowledge with real-life experience. She is a fierce advocate for her people – children and clients alike!

A native of Mount Pleasant, we lured her to the big city of Longview while she was still in law school, and she’s been surpassing our expectations since our first meeting! Entering her second year of practice, Candace has represented clients in virtually all areas of family law and is branching out into estate planning. In what little spare time she has, Candace enjoys working out, refusing to go to the doctor when she’s ill/injured, and keeping the office in stitches with stories of her courtroom and parenting escapades.
